01 / YOUR GUIDE
Charles the Guide
Charles Sere is the founder and owner of JARIBU SAFARIS UGANDA and your personal Guide.
In Charles’s own words
„The first time I was around the purest nature was early January 2011,this was at the heart of Budongo forest, beautiful and very quiet place surrounded with nature only. Right from the loudest cicadas in the night, tree hyraxes calling out loud to beautiful birds breaking out the morning dawn, black and white monkeys flying up and down. So many shapes and sizes of different insects in colors I cannot imagine. The most Catchy for me was loads of the most beautiful butterflies every where in lots of places. The energy, life and how peaceful these butterflies were made me restless and I decided to know more and be part of that life. Call me Charles the guide.“

How can I travel thoughtfully?
Respect wildlife space, follow park rules and your guide’s directions, take litter with you, and ask before photographing people. Leave each place as you would hope to find it.
